The HES-SO works in cooperation with numerous higher education establishments at a national and international level.

Its objectives are:
To facilitate the mobility of students and researchers by means of a system of transfers and credit accumulation: ECTS.
To reinforce European culture while respecting diversity.

In order to achieve these objectives and comply with the law on Universities of Applied Sciences, the HEdS Genève maintains international relations with partner universities and colleges to develop the qualifications and skills of academic staff and to promote its areas of competence.

The HES-SO encourages mobility and provides the financial and structural means for periods of mobility for both students and academic staff.
Mobility in Europe is managed by the ERASMUS Europe programme.
